A vintage hand-carved wooden turtle sculpture from Guatemala, painted with red, ochre, black, green, and golden tones. The shell has raised geometric carving, crosshatched detail, and an aged painted surface.

The hollow-bodied figure stands on four carved legs. It is estimated to date from the mid to late 20th century and is in very good vintage condition, with minor wear, natural craquelure, and small paint losses consistent with age.
