Frequently Asked Questions
How is the authenticity of artisan pieces verified?
We work directly with Quechua and Aymara artisans, cooperative leaders, and cultural stewards. Each item carries documented provenance that includes region, materials, and cultural context. By request, we share high resolution workshop photos, maker interviews, and notes on motifs and techniques such as backstrap loom weaving or regional mask carving.
What is your return policy?
You have 14 days from delivery to return or exchange. Choose a full refund to your original payment method, store credit, or an exchange when available for one of a kind pieces. Items must be returned in the same condition received, unworn, unwashed, unused, with original packaging when possible. Start your return by emailing info@shopfromtheandes.com for authorization and a prepaid label. Refunds are issued within 5 to 7 business days after inspection.
What if my order arrives damaged?
If an item arrives damaged in transit, notify us within 24 hours and include clear photos or video of the item and all packaging.
