The Heirloom Stone Necklace is a long-form statement piece built from substantial, hand-polished natural stones selected for their weight, texture, and durability. This necklace is designed around scale and material presence, favoring density and geological character over ornament.

At 21.5 inches including the clasp, the necklace sits lower on the chest with a relaxed, intentional drape. Worn alone, it reads as a complete object rather than a layering accessory.

With a total weight of 147 grams, the piece has real physical heft. The weight is immediately felt when worn and reflects the use of solid stone throughout the strand.

Stone Composition

The necklace is composed of large-scale, hand-polished natural stones with a warm, sedimentary palette. Dominant tones range through sandstone beige, clay tan, honey brown, and iron-rich rust, with natural marbling and clouding visible across each bead.

Primary stones appear in rounded rectangular and barrel forms, shaped by hand rather than machine symmetry. Their surfaces are smooth and glossy, yet retain visible grain, mineral variation, and subtle irregularities that confirm natural origin.

Secondary stones introduce deeper red-brown and ochre tones, with iron-oxide veining commonly found in jasper-type and agate-adjacent materials. These darker stones anchor the composition and provide visual contrast against the lighter calcareous tones.

Smaller spacer elements are also cut from solid stone and shaped into compact discs and rounds. No bone, shell, resin, or synthetic fillers are used. Every visible component is stone.

Overall, the stones read as dense, weathered, and geological. The palette is sun-warmed and terrestrial, with a character that feels time-worn rather than decorative.
