About the Collection
A broad collection, documented piece by piece.
From The Andes home objects are not selected to fit one decorative style. The assortment moves from folk art and textiles to ritual objects, natural specimens, vintage pieces and collectible works. We identify what is known and do not fill gaps in provenance with assumptions.
Materials & Craft
Wood, ceramic, stone, textile, metal and natural materials appear throughout the collection. Construction, finish and materials are described on the individual product page rather than generalized across unlike objects.
Context & Provenance
Maker, origin, age and cultural or ritual use are stated when documentation supports them. Ritual objects and amulets are described as cultural objects without making claims about supernatural efficacy.
Care & Display
Keep objects in a stable, dry environment and avoid harsh cleaners. Painted surfaces, textiles, mineral specimens, natural materials and older pieces can require different care, so follow item-specific guidance where provided.
