This Shipping Policy applies to all purchases made through From The Andes Inc. via www.fromtheandes.net. By placing an order, you agree to the terms below.
1. Order Processing and Cutoff
All orders ship from our studio in Ranchos de Taos, New Mexico, USA.
- Speed: Orders typically ship within 1 business day.
- Daily Cutoff: Orders placed after 12 PM MST will ship the following business day.
- Weekends/Holidays: Orders placed on weekends or holidays will ship the next business day.
2. Carriers and Rates
We ship via USPS or UPS, with full tracking provided for every order.
- Domestic (USA): Shipping costs are calculated at checkout directly by the carrier based on delivery distance and package weight.

Canada:
- Orders over $300.00 qualify for free shipping.
- Orders under $300.00 are subject to a $25.00 flat rate.
- Estimated transit time is 5 to 11 business days.
3. International Duties and Taxes
Customers outside the United States are responsible for all import duties, VAT, customs fees, and local taxes.
- Canada: Canadian customers are responsible for all GST, HST, PST, and customs brokerage fees. These are collected by the carrier and are non-refundable by From The Andes Inc.
- Delays: From The Andes Inc. is not responsible for delays caused by customs or international carriers.
4. Insurance and Liability
- Insurance: All orders over $100 USD are automatically insured at no extra cost. For insurance on orders under $100, please contact us prior to checkout.
- Lost or Stolen Packages: Once a package is marked "Delivered" by the carrier, From The Andes Inc. is no longer liable for subsequent loss or theft. Please ensure your delivery address is secure, as we cannot reroute packages once they are in transit.
5. Packaging and Sustainability
In support of environmental sustainability, we may use repurposed or recycled packaging materials. All items, including rare artifacts and luxury apparel, are securely packed to ensure safe delivery.
6. Address Accuracy
Please verify your shipping information carefully before placing your order. From The Andes Inc. is not responsible for packages delayed or lost due to incorrect or incomplete addresses.
7. Damaged Items
If an item arrives damaged or exhibits a manufacturing defect, you must notify us within 24 hours of delivery. Please email clear photos of the item and packaging to info@shopfromtheandes.com to initiate a resolution.
